Optional Project for Credit
Checklist for obtaining graduate credit for the Essentials Exploration workshop:
- Attend all day session today
- Submit signed UNC registration form
- Complete Extended Studies course evaluation at end of the day
- Pay $55 fee to UNC (when bursar sends bill)
- Complete Assignment as described below
- Submit assignment electronically by given due date (See Guide for using the unctps.org website)
Assignment
Create a primary source-based activity (choose from Connecting through Visuals, Life in a Box, or Found Poems)*
Your assignment should include:
· Primary sources used – cited with correct/permanent URL
· Copyright information related to the source chosen
· Instructions for implementing in class
· Assessment – how you will determine student learning
*About the activities you create: You experienced examples of each of these activities in the workshop, Connecting through Visuals, Life in a Box and Found Poems. Instructions for implementing them in your classroom are included in your notebook and are also available on our website.
