Scenario 2: Students in a class use photographic materials for a multimedia presentation.  according to the collection copyright statement, does their presentation violate any of the fair use guidelines?

Scenario 3: The student multimedia presentation mentioned in the last question was so wonderful that the teachers wants to share it with parents.  Which of the following distribution methods will be okay according to the collection copyright statement?

  • Post the presentation on the school's website.
  • Email the presentation to parents.
  • Put the presentation on a password protected portion of the website.

Scenario 4: A teacher selects a set of 15 photos or other materials from the collection, and makes 5 printed copies for small groups to use in a lesson. Is there a limit on the number of items in a set, or the number of copies that can be made for the lesson?
